Thanks for posting this. I wonder if there is any chance that a transcript will be made…I could not hear/understand much of what was said.
I enjoyed the discussion of assumptions that underlie belief in superintelligence.
I could hear two suggestions for how to reach superintelligence. 1) just keep programming and 2) copy the human brain into electronic format. I’m skeptical that either of these is an algorithm for superintelligence. There seems to be an element of faith here, an assumption that superintelligence will magically appear.
